HUAWEI Mate X7 first images teased, will launch alongside Mate 80 Series

Apart from the MatePad Edge and Mate80 Series, HUAWEI is also set to reveal a new foldable called Mate X7 in China on November 25.

The company has provided a first look at the phone's design, confirming it will be available in white, maroon, and purple finishes. 

Official images show a triple rear camera arrangement within a redesigned camera module. Initial visuals also suggest the Mate X7 will feature a thinner form factor than the previous Mate X6 model.

In promotional material posted to Weibo, HUAWEI highlighted the device's ruggedness, stating it will incorporate a second-generation Kunlun glass cover and carry dual IP58 and IP59 certifications for resistance against dust and water.

According to details shared by the leaker known as Digital Chat Station, the foldable is expected to run on the Kirin 9030 chipset and offer memory and storage configurations reaching 20GB RAM and 1TB. 

The tipster also indicated the phone would be equipped with a high-end camera system, including a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with variable aperture, and would feature a fingerprint sensor on its side.

The official unveiling is scheduled for November 25, with more information anticipated ahead of the launch event.
