GCash now connects to Google Pay!
This service applies to in-store purchases, online payments, and public transportation fares. The feature is rolling out gradually to selected users and will be fully available to all soon.
The integration uses tokenization, where merchants receive virtual card details instead of real ones, adding a layer of security. However, full benefits depend on merchants having NFC-enabled terminals.
