The online shopping platform which operates mainly in the Southeast Asian region and Taiwan is among the first few e-commerce apps to offer cash on delivery payment option, setting it apart from other online shops that require customers to pay via credit card.

In Southeast Asian countries including the Philippines credit card it still low compared to other regions in the globe.  That is why cash on delivery payment method reaches out to a wider market not only exclusive to credit holders.

Shopee, a virtual shopping mall that helps shoppers and merchants meet is one of the first few to offer cash on delivery, a feature that contributed to its success.

To celebrate its birthday and to mark their 40 million download milestone, Shopee is treating its patrons to a store-wide sale across all of product categories including gadgets.

From June 20 to 22 shoppers can enjoy up to 90 percent discounts on products sold on the app.

Not resting on its laurels,  Shopee continues to push for improvements in terms of customer service and new partnerships.
