Samsung to make Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 865 chip
According to a Korean news source, Qualcomm has awarded Samsung the deal to make the upcoming Snapdragon 865 flagship chipset, instead of TSMC.

The deal is not complete yet, but it s reportedly in the final stages already. Qualcomm will use Samsung as its 7nm EUV process is believed to be more advanced than TSMC's 7nm node.
There are details stating that Samsung will release two versions of Snapdragon 865, a standard one and a variant with X55 5G modem.
Aside from Qualcomm, Samsung foundries will also be producing GPU chips for Nvidia with the new Ampere architecture on 7nm process. It should be way better than the current Turing cards under custom 12nm process.
IBM will also use Samsung's 7nm EUV foundries for the company's next generation processors.
The upcoming next flagship Exynos chip is also expected to be built-under this process.
Going back to Snapdragon 865, Qualcomm is expected to launch the chip in 2020.
