Based on the latest data from its own platform, Xiaomi revealed that the company has already sold 10 million units of the Redmi Note 8 series as of November 30, 2019.

In short, Xiaomi has sold the above-mentioned number of Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro phones in just 3 months worldwide.

The success of the Redmi Note 8 series could be attributed to their high specs and never-before-seen innovations for the price.

As a quick recap, the Redmi Note 8 is the more affordable of the two. It uses a Gorilla Glass 5 protected 2.5D curved glass back, 6.3-inch 2.5D curved FHD+ screen, 11nm Snapdragon 665 AIE octa-core chip, up to 4GB RAM, up to 128GB storage expandable storage, 4,100mAh battery, 48MP quad-cam, and 13MP selfie cam.

On the other hand, Redmi Note 8 Pro touts the world's most affordable 64MP camera yet. In particular, it uses the 64MP f/1.8 Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor paired with 3 more cameras.

The phone also comes with a 6.53-inch FHD+ screen, 12nm Helio G90T gaming octa-core processor, up to 8GB RAM, up to 128GB storage, and 20MP selfie cam.

In PH, Redmi Note 8 starts at PHP 7,990 (3GB/32GB). Redmi Note 8 Pro starts at HP 11,490 (6GB/64GB).
