POCO M2 Pro could be the company's next mid-ranger

Back in February, POCO retuned after being quiet for more than a year with the launch of the X2. To keep the momentum strong, the Xiaomi-related mobile brand will soon introduce the F2 Pro soon.

Apart from the X2 Pro, a new report from XDA Developers stated that the company may soon launch the POCO M2 Pro.

The said device was spotted on the Mi India website in the section where Xiaomi lists data from its SAR testing.

The article revealed that the device comes with the "M2003J6CI" model name with the "gram" codename. The said codename has also appeared in firmware and kernel source code for the Redmi Note 9 Pro.

If this device has similarities with the Redmi Note 9 Pro, then it could be a mid-range device. XDA speculates that it might be even powered by a Snapdragon 700 series chipset.

Our guess, it could be the same 8nm Snapdragon 720 SoC found on the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
