Redmi launched Redmi Note 10T last June 2021, 10 months later a new device with the same name was announced with a Snapdragon chip this time.

A Snapdragon version announced!

The device was launched in Japan and appears with only minimal difference in the design, the rear cover still has the shiny reflection on it but you will notice the brand's logo now has a 5G mark on it.

Its display has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, adaptive 90Hz refresh rate, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Previously the handset has 7nm MediaTek Dimensy 700, but now the refreshed version is powered by a 2.0GHz 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset and Adreno 619 GPU. The processor is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage.

Meanwhile, the battery remains the same with a 5,000mAh capacity and supports 18W fast charging. However, the website indicates that the power adapter is not included and must be purchased separately.

For its cameras, the main shooter has been upgraded to 50 and is paired with a 2MP depth helper, while the 2MP macro shooter has been removed.

Other features noted were the face unlock, side-mounted fingerprint reader for security, and the IP68 rating for dust and water protection.

The connection features are dual-band WiFi 5, 5G, 4G Bluetooth 5.1, GPS NFC, Dual SIM support, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The software side runs MIUI 13 which is based on Android 11.

Japan price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

Redmi Note 10T 4GB/64GB - JPY 34,800 (around PHP 14.3K)

The phone can now be bought on the Japanese Redmi website and is available in Azure Black, Nighttime Blue, and Lake Blue colors.

However, there's no news yet if it will come to the Philippines.
