More advanced Google Lens for Chrome desktop rolled out on macOS, Windows, and Chrome OS

The specific version that brought in this update is not certain yet but those on Chrome version 100 should already have it. A bottom bar with three options is now present with Search, Text, and Translation to choose from in the new Google Lens on Chrome. A Find image source top button has also been added as well.

Users may pick, copy, listen to, and do more with text discovered on a photo using the new Optical Character Recognition tool. Translation, on the other hand, works similarly to the Google Translate mobile app. It interprets the text on the image to assist people to understand the meaning of a word or phrase. Users can also open the page via Google Translate if they choose.
