In a post on Weibo, vivo today confirmed that the X80 flagship smartphone series will launch on April 25 at 7 PM CST or around 8 AM PHT in China.
Based on its teaser, the device will feature a leather-like textured back design, a massive rectangular space for its four cameras (3 on the circular hump and one periscope lens outside), and ZEISS Vario-Tessar lenses featuring the T* anti-reflective coating.
Speculations point out that the company will release three models, the X80, X80 Pro, and X80 Pro+ just like last year. The devices are expected to be powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship chip and at least one of them might use the very exciting 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000 high-end processor.
There are also reports that the device might feature the 50MP GN1 main shooter, 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide shooter, 12MP Portrait lens, and an 8MP periscope camera. The selfie cam might be a 32MP sensor.
Other than that, there are no other details about the phones yet. There are no details if the company will also launch this in other parts of the world including the Philippines yet.
But, rest assured that we will cover this event and we will get back to you guys.
