As an example, the OPPO Find X5 Pro's gorgeous ceramic back's curved rear gracefully and organically wraps around the device's camera housing while encapsulating a volcano-like shape to create a seamless look and feel that no other smartphone can equal.
The design language is according to Antoni Gaudi's idea of nature having no straight lines. Nature's organic curves have always inspired artists like Gaudi. The OPPO Find X5 Pro's sleek, smooth rear surface gradually flows around the lenses to make a dramatic volcano-like structure, in contrast to rival cellphones that have less stylish camera bumps that resemble various smartphone features.
In order to further level up the curve in the OPPO Find X5 Pro, engineers and designers were able to build on their prior experiences. This resulted in a device that attractively and smoothly combines the camera system while also providing energy that is both eye-catching and soft.
The ceramic rear panel is carved like a work of art by OPPO engineers in order to produce an organically curved back for the OPPO Find X5 Pro. To create the seamless and organic curves of the flagship gadget, they used more than 2,000 different control points.
According to OPPO, controlling the ceramic panel was not at all simple. Due to its strong qualities, it was hard to machine, which presented a significant challenge when designing the curved rear of the OPPO Find X5 Series. Additionally, it took OPPO engineers six months of research and development in the molding, machining, and polishing process to produce the remarkable feature because they had to overcome other significant obstacles.
The sides of the ceramic cover appeared with a straight cutting line surrounding it and obvious cutting lines from the machine blades, posing another problem for OPPO engineers. In order to improve the machined edges and give them a smoother, finished appearance, OPPO developed a new lift edge polishing procedure.
In terms of the camera island, the camera lens rings could be taken off for a neater appearance. The lenses must, however, be placed precisely within the housing. The lens could be damaged if it is positioned too high. Users will notice a drop in the surface and lose the luxurious flush flow if it is too low.
The three lenses and ceramic battery cover for the OPPO Find X5 Pro were divided into three groups based on their thicknesses as a fix. The exact camera housing depth was then achieved by matching the lenses to the closest ceramic cover.
Additionally, OPPO committed millions to developing specialized automated technology that automatically classifies and matches the lenses and back covers because manual measuring and grouping can be laborious and difficult to manage.
