HUAWEI Mobile Philippines has started teasing a new smartphone with a big screen that will go official in the country on August 12, 2022.
Based on its design with Mate-like circular camera placement, it is probably the nova Y90 that was recently released in Thailand for the APAC market.
As a quick recap, the new Huawei nova Y90 is boasting a Mate 40-like back design with a disk-like circular camera bump at the back. It is a slightly curved glass-like back in Crystal Blue, Pearl White, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black color options.
For the display, the handset uses a 6.7-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and a punch-hole to house the 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
Powering the phone is the 2.4GHz 6nm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It is paired with 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 40W SuperCharge support.
