OPPO Reno8 Z 5G announced as refreshed Reno7 Z 5G
OPPO's event today in Thailand introduces the Reno8 Z 5G smartphone with a new design and SD695 SoC.

OPPO Reno8 Z announced!
Apparently, this device has plenty of similarities with its predecessor, but what differentiates it will be in the design as it now has different colors with Dawnlight Gold and Starlight Black. The camera island extends to the frame but it is shinier compared to the Reno7 Z 5G with less gloss in it.
The phone retains the same screen size of 6.43-inch and a Rigid AMOLED panel. Its resolution will be Full HD+ 2400 x 1080, 600 nits peak brightness, 60Hz refresh rate, up to 180Hz touch sampling rate, and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Inside you will find the same 6nm 2.4GHz Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor with Adreno 619 GPU. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 expandable storage.
It still has a 4,500mAh battery and charges using a USB-C and 33W power adapter.
The camera side is also similar with a 64MP main, 2MP macro helper, and 2MP depth shooter. Meanwhile, the front-facing shooter has 16MP.
Other features are stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
For connectivity, it has dual band WiFi, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and NFC.
Finally, the OS is new as it now runs Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 UI.

It is now available for pre-order in Thailand while the sale begins on August 15. For now, we can't say yet if it will come to the Philippines but stayed tuned with us for more updates.
