GCash is resuming services at the moment

Earlier, several netizens said that they were able to access GCash services.

GCash is restoring its services!

In a statement, GCash told team GIZGUIDE that the company is restoring its services.

GCash has temporarily disabled some features as we have detected delays in posting transactions affecting services such as Express Send; Bank Transfers via Instapay; Access to Real-time Transaction History; QRPH; Card Transactions; and Online Web Pay.

We are working to immediately resolve this inconvenience so that our users can continue to enjoy GCash services. Our customers can rest assured that their accounts and funds are safe.

In case you can't still access your GCash account, all you need to do is be patient as the company promised that they are working hard to make its app work as quickly as possible.

For any assistance, our official channels are open and accessible to assist our customers, they can go to the GCash Help Center at https://help.gcash.com/hc/en-us, and talk to Gigi.

In the meantime, GCash recently highlighted its efforts to mitigate cyberattacks and keep fraudsters at bay. Due to those measures, the company claimed that they have saved around 750,000 accounts. GCash said that they have also barred over 4M fraud accounts, taken down 800 phishing sites, and taken down 45K malicious social media posts. You may read more about it here.

The company also recently implemented a new feature where it will now send notifications directly on the app when receiving money.
