Apple unveiled new versions of MacBook Pro powered by its latest M3 Series chips.

Apple mentioned that the end of October will be a big day. It turns out they unveiled their latest flagship chips that will power iMacs and MacBook Pro.

New M3 Series chips

Buyers can choose between 14-inch or 16-inch Liquid Retina XDR displays and the version of M3 chips.

For example, the 14-inch model can choose the base M3 chip with an 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 8GB Unified Memory, 512GB, or 1TB SSD (Supports 70W USB-C charging).

The display

For M3 Pro, there's the 11-core CPU, 14-core GPU, 18GB Unified Memory, and 512GB SSD (supports 70W USB-C). 

There's also the slightly upgraded M3 Pro with a 12-core CPU, 18-core GPU, 18GB Unified Memory, and a higher 1TB SSD storage. This supports 96W USB-C charging.

You can also choose the M3 Max variant with a 14-core CPU, 30-core GPU, 36GB Unified Memory, and 1 TB SSD storage. The M3 Max also supports 96W USB-C PD.

Color options and battery performance of M3 MacBooks

As for the 16-inch variant. There's no base M3 option here. But will support M3 Pro and M3 Max versions.

For M3 Pro it will be a 12-core CPU, 18-core GPU,  18GB or 36GB Unified Memory, and a single option of 512GB SSD.

As for the M3 Max, it has a 14-core CPU, 30-core GPU, 36GB Unified Memory, and 1TB SSD. There's also the stronger M3 Max with higher core counts at 16-core CPU, 40-core GPU, 48GB Unified Memory, and 1TB SSD.

All of these 16-inch variants will have stronger power draw at 140W USB-C.

The ports

Both 14-inch and 16-inch models will have support of up to 3x thunderbolt/USB4 ports (2x for weaker versions), HDMI port, SDXC card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, and MagSafe 3 port.

They also support Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Force Touch trackpad.

Do note that there are memory configuration options in the Apple Store which may increase these prices up to more than PHP 400K on the highest versions.
