Aluminum body, solid water resistance, bigger display, and more!

The Samsung Galaxy Fit3 is the company's newest sports and health-focused wearable featuring an all-new design.

Samsung said that the device now sports a "durable" aluminum body with bands that users can mix and match. For water and dust resistance, the watch comes with a 5 ATM + IP68 rating. It is available in Gray, Silver, and Pink Gold colorways.

The display is now 1.6-inch which is 45 percent wider than the previous model. The panel is AMOLED with 402 x 256 resolution.

This is a 40mm watch measuring 42.9 x 28.8 x 9.9 mm. It weighs just 18.5 grams.

Samsung claims that the Watch Fit3 has over 100 watch face presets and could even use their own photos as the background. The bigger display also allows its users to view and keep track of their health and wellness data easier than ever.

For health and monitoring, the watch can detect snoring and blood oxygen levels to provide more detailed measurements. Moreover, it has personalized Sleep Coaching with insights to understand sleep better based on individual sleep patterns.

It can also deliver health metrics that include heart rate and stress levels.

The watch also enables users to track over 100 types of workouts and see their exercise records easily.

Following Apple's footsteps, the Galaxy Fit3 also has Fall Detection and Emergency SOS. So, when an abnormal fall is detected, the watch gives users the option to call emergency services immediately. Users can also send an SOS immediately by pressing the side button five times.

The watch could also be used as a Camera Remote, control media on connected devices, and easily locate a connected smartphone via the Find My Phone Feature.

According to the company, the smart fitness watch can last up to 13 days on a single charge. The exact battery capacity is 208mAh.

The device is compatible with Android 10.0 or higher with more than 1.5GB of memory.

In this new era of wellness, users desire a more comprehensive understanding of their health and Samsung has committed to providing users with advanced health monitoring tools to help them along their wellness journey, said Blue Avelino, Head of Mobile Experience for Samsung Electronics Philippines. As our newest fitness tracker, the Galaxy Fit3 underscores our commitment to providing accessible resources that encourage everyday wellness and inspire everyone to work on their best self.

There is no word about its pricing yet. But the device will be available starting February 23 in select markets worldwide.
