Since there is a demand for high-end OnePlus phones in the Philippines, we will get both the OnePlus 12R and the flagship OnePlus 12.

To recap, the OnePlus 12R 5G highlights a classic OnePlus look in Iron Gray and Cool Blue.

For specs, the device highlights a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protected 6.78-inch LTPI AMOLED screen 120Hz AMOLED screen, 3.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor with New Adreno GPU, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, 5,500mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 12 is the more powerful of the two. It uses a Gorilla Glass 5-protected luxury watch-inspired design with a circular camera module and a curved glass back in Flowy Emerald or Silky Black colorways.

The body also has an IP65 water and dust resistance rating. While it is an improvement from the IP64 last year, it still lags behind the IP68 of most modern flagship phones.

For the rest of the specs, it uses a 6.82-inch LTPO 4.0 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, QHD+ resolution, a whopping 4,500 nits peak brightness, and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Inside, it is powered by the 3.3GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor with a new-generation Adreno high-end GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage, and a large 5,400mAh battery capacity with USB-C 100W SUPERVOOC charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless fast charging tech with Dual Cryo-velocity VC Cooling System.

The other highlight of the handset is its powerful 4th Gen Hasselblad camera system featuring the 50MP f/1.6 Sony LYT-808 with OIS + 48MP f/2.2 Sony IMX581 114-degree ultra-wide + 64MP f/2.6 OV64B 3x periscope with OIS setup.

In front, it sports a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor with up to 4K 30fps video recording.

Completing the specs, the handset also features a stereo speaker setup, IR Blaster remote control, the classic Alert Slider,  WiFi 7 2x2 MIMO, 16x omnidirectional antenna, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, and dual nano SIM slots.

The device runs with Android 14 OS with the OxygenOS 14 skin on top.

For updates, the phone will get 4 years of major Android updates and 5 years of security updates.

There is no word on the exact official launch date as well as the pricing. But one thing is for sure, it is coming this April 2024.
