iPhone 16 Series exact battery capacities revealed

The actual battery size of the iPhone 16 Series has been finally revealed.

Apple can't hide it forever

Apple tends not to disclose the battery capacities of its iPhones. Even if they do, it rarely happens and just reveals the actual hours of their video playback.

With that being said, people will have to rely on regulatory agency certifications or teardowns. 3 weeks after the Apple Event, the said battery size is now revealed thanks to Brazilian regulator "Anatel".

iPhone 16 and 16 Plus

Starting with the base model iPhone 16, it turns out to be 6.3 percent higher from the 15 with its 3,561mAh (22 hours). On the other hand, the iPhone 16 Plus has a 4,674mAh size (27 hours) which is up by 6.6 percent.

The iPhone 16 Pro turns out to get a 3,582mAh battery (22 hours) which is 9.4 percent better than the predecessor.

As for the top-end variant iPhone 16 Pro Max, it comes with a 4,685mAh capacity (29 hours) with a 5.5  percent upgrade from the previous version.

While these numbers in capacity may seem low, do note that Apple's chips are extremely efficient (3nm process) combined with highly optimized software. A reason why iPhones can still last and support Apple's claims for their hours of video playback.

Finally, all iPhone versions support 25W MagSafe charging. Although the Pro and Pro Max versions also support 30W or 45W charging too.
