vivo T3 Ultra launched: Dimensity 9200+, IP68, 120Hz AMOLED, 50MP cameras with Aura Light

In India, vivo has introduced the new T3 Ultra with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+, 120Hz AMOLED, and 5,500mAh battery with 80W charging.

Ultra variant of the T series?

In March 2024, vivo introduced the first member of the T3 series, the T3 5G in India. Several months later in August, the brand introduced the Pro variant. Now, the Ultra variant is here too.

Visually, the T3 Ultra looks similar to the recently launched vivo V40 5G but unfortunately, the new T3 Ultra does not have the ZEISS cameras.

It features a large 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 2,800 x 1,260 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4,500 nits peak brightness, and a 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Under the panel is the optical fingerprint scanner.

Inside is the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ octa-core processor, 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging via USB-C.

At the back of the phone is the 50MP f/1.88 main camera with Sony IMX921 sensor with OIS, and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with a smart Aura Light LED flash. In front is the 50MP f/2.0 Group Selfie camera.

Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, GNSS, dual-NanoSIM, and an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.

Running the show is Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14. 

The phone is made of a front and rear curved glass panel, measuring 164.16 x 74.9 x 7.58 mm. It weighs 192 grams.

Lastly, it comes in either Frost Green or Lunar Gray colorway

It is now available in India through Flipkart, vivo online or brick-and-mortar stores and partner retailers.

There has yet to be any word on international or Philippine availability and pricing.
