OPPO K15 Pro+ announced: Dimensity 9500s, Active Cooling Fan, and 8,000mAh battery

Apart from the K15 Pro, it also unveiled the K15 Pro+ as a more powerful gaming alternative.

The OPPO K15 Pro+ is offered in three color options: Photodust, Origin Grey, and Cyber Wings. 

The device carries a gaming-oriented design aesthetic, complete with an active cooling fan integrated into the chassis and a LanYing breathing light that supports customizable color effects. 

Despite housing a physical cooling fan, the device carries full IP68/IP69 ingress protection ratings.

In front, the K15 Pro+ sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 2772 x 1272  resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches a peak brightness of 1,800 nits and houses an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner along with a 16MP front-facing camera.

The features

Powering the device is MediaTek's  3.73GHz 3nm Dimensity 9500s with Immortalis G1 Ultra GPU. The chip is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The K15 Pro+ is backed by an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon (Si-C) battery with support for USB-C 100W SUPERVOOC. The device also supports both reverse wired charging and bypass charging.

For imaging, the K15 Pro+ features a dual rear camera system comprising a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens, and an LED flash.

The rear setup can record video up to 4K at 60 frames per second.

Other features include a physically active cooling fan paired with a large vapor chamber, which OPPO claims can reduce device temperature by up to 5°C.

There's also a Lingxi button with customizable multi-location mapping, a super-sensory touch chip, and a four-unit coaxial speaker system on board. 

In terms of connectivity, it has WiFi 7, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and dual SIM.

The device ships with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box. 

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

OPPO K15 Pro+ 256GB - CNY 3,699 (around PHP 32.6K)

OPPO K15 Pro+ 512GB - CNY 4,199 (around PHP 37K)

The phone is available in China for pre-order while the sale begins on April. No word yet if it will come to the Philippines.
