REDMI 17 4G launched: Helio G91-Ultra, 6.9-inch display, 7,500mAh battery

Apart from the REDMI 17 5G, the brand also launched the 4G model.

The Redmi 17 4G is available in White, Red, and Green colour options and features an IP64-rated chassis.

In front, the device sports a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 825 nits of high brightness mode. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and carries TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free viewing, and circadian-friendly operation.

The features

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the 2.0GHz 6nm Helio G91-Ultra chipset, paired with 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB eMMC 5.1 storage, with memory expansion supported up to 12GB RAM. 

It houses a 7,500mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging as well as 22.5W wired reverse charging.

For photography, the Redmi 17 4G features a 50-megapixel AI dual rear camera setup alongside an 8MP front-facing camera.

Additional features include stereo speakers with up to 300% volume boost, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM support, and a microSD card slot.

On the connectivity front, the device offers WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and dual SIM. 

Finally, it runs on HyperOS 3, based on Android 16.

It is currently available in Malaysia. No word yet on a PH release at the moment.
