Apple PH reveals iPhone 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max, and Duo pre‑order dates—October 2 and 1

Apple Philippines posted the pre-order details of the recently announced iPhone 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max, and the Duo.

Time to line up for new iPhones

According to Apple's website, pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro Series will begin at 12am PH time on October 2, while availability is on October 16.

iPhone Duo pre-order date in PH

Meanwhile, the iPhone Duo pre-order begins on October 16, with availability starting on October 30.

To recap, the 18 Pro Series are largely similar except for the screen size, battery life, physical weight, and dimensions.

The iPhone 18 Pro

Both use the same Super Retina XDR OLED screen with anti-reflective coating. 18 Pro gets a 6.3-inch screen, while the Pro Max has the larger 6.9-inch screen.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max

The two devices use the same 2nm A20 Pro chip with a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU, and dual 16-core Neural Engines.

They are also available in 256GB/512GB/1TB/2TB storage sizes and offer a large vapor chamber for cooling.

Furthermore, the two iPhones share the same cameras. You can spot the  48MP Fusion Main sensor with variable aperture (f/1.48–f/4.0, 4 preset levels) + 48MP f/2.2 ultra-wide with autofocus and macro + 48MP tetraprism periscope telephoto (4x optical, up to 8x lossless zoom) on the rear.

The selfie cameras are 18MP f/1.9 with a wide 20mm focal length.

They also retain the same Camera Control on the side of the frame, while both also feature WiFi 7, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, and the new C2 modem for faster connectivity.

Both also arrive on iOS 27 out of the box with smarter Apple Intelligence and features.

The iPhone Duo screen orientations

On the other hand, the iPhone DUO offers a passport-style folding screen with symmetrical viewing angles on either the cover display or the main one.

Speaking of which, the outer cover screen uses a 5.4-inch size while the primary display extends to 7.6 inches.

Both offer Super Retina XDR w/ ProMotion panels, but the cover display gets Ceramic Shield 2 protection for accidental drops.

This foldable also comes with a precision hinge for smooth movements when folding. Apple claimed it's made of 100+ components, reinforced ribs, ceramic fiber inserts to ensure rigidity and made to last for a long time.

Furthermore, the iPhone DUO is also certified with an IP68 dust and water resistance rating and a Grade 5 titanium body for added durability.

Similarly, it is also powered by the A20 Pro chip with on-device AI and is cooled by a large vapor chamber.

It Dual Battery Architecture will ensure the phone lasts up to 31 hours of video playback on the inner screen or 44 hours for the outer panel. 

Additionally, the Duo features a 48MP Fusion main camera (24MP default) with 2x telephoto and sensor‑shift OIS +  48MP Fusion Ultra Wide that supports macro shots. On the front, it uses a Center Stage plus hidden FaceTime camera under its display.
