DITO continues to grow its subscriber base

In a statement, the third major telco player said it hit the milestone just this morning as the group continues to ramp up its presence across the country.

During a recent media briefing, the company said it was on the course of enticing six million subscribers by end-2021.

We are on pace to get around five to six million subscribers by the end of the year. That's our expectation. But that's not truly our first year of operations, it's only nine months. If you were to compute for a year, it would be higher than that, said DITO chief administrative officer Adel Tamano.

In the same statement, the third telco player also said it has made its mobile services available to 14 areas last September 17.

Its network will reach five more areas on September 24, DITO said.
