Lalamove RIDE to challenge Grab's ride-hailing services, launching on Feb 10

A new competitor for ride-hailing services

Previously, Lalamove strictly does not offer to transfer living things including humans, pets, or other animals.

Now, things will change as the prominent transportation service app will offer the Lalamove RIDE as a new ride-hailing alternative for Filipino consumers (still limited to humans only).

As per its official Facebook page, customers can expect four-wheeled vehicles like hatchbacks, sedans, MPVs, and SUVs. The company will also offer hybrid and EVs which are not seen on traditional transportation services.

The sedan option will accommodate 4 passengers max and if you need many seats, the SUV or MPV can handle 6 passengers.

Currently, there's no information teased with regard to the pricing of the Lalamove RIDE. However, it is interesting to see a new competitor other than JoyRide, Grab, AngCars Beta, and In-Drive.

Hopefully, the new service will bring competitive rates similar to its delivery feature against Grab or Angkas.
