What to expect with TECNO SPARK Slim?

The upcoming TECNO SPARK Slim is the world's slimmest 3D curved AI smartphone at just 5.93mm on its thinnest point, beating the 5.95mm of its cousin, Infinix HOT 60 Pro+.

Despite having a slim design, the handset is said to be incredibly tough by using a 0.36mm aerospace-grade fiberglass back coverIP64 dust and water resistance, and Gorilla Glass 7i. This resulted in having the phone pass the stringent MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification.

According to TECNO, the device endures a 25kg bend test, survives a 1.5-meter drop without a case, and withstands up to a 2-meter fall when protected—ready for life's unexpected moments.

Moreover, it has a sleek yet futuristic design featuring a cool-looking Mood Light with light effects, adding an emotional touch, and responds to interactions. Users can also maximize it to receive alerts, notifications, charging reminders, low battery warnings, a voice assistant indicator, and more.

The display is also impressive. The phone uses a 6.78-inch Gorilla Glass 7i-protected AMOLED screen with an extra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate and a crisp 1.5K 2720 x 1224 resolution at 440 ppi. This also has an In-Display fingerprint reader.

In addition, unlike other ultra-slim phones like the Samsung Galaxy Edge (3,900mAh) and Apple iPhone Air (3,149mAh), TECNO was able to fit a fairly large 5-Year Long Life 5,160mAh Lithium Cobalt Oxide battery inside this handset. It also has a USB-C port, allowing the phone to enjoy 45W Super Charge that can fill it to 100 percent in just 44 minutes, Overnight Charging Protection, and Liquid Charging Detection.

Moreover, it has a vapor chamber
measuring just 0.3mm thick for heat dissipation.

The rest of the specs include the 2.2GHz 6nm MediaTek Helio G200 octa-core processor, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM (expandable to 16GB), 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage, 50MP f/1.6 main camera, 13MP f/2.0 selfie camera, and stereo speakers.

The phone runs on Android 15 OS with HiOS 15, featuring a wide array of TECNO AI productivity and creativity tools and Google Gemini AI.

It also has Super Freelink Communication, which allows voice and file sharing via Bluetooth with a theoretical range of up to 1 kilometer, and a GCash and AIoT-compatible NFC

To make this design possible, the company used the Honeycomb Space Stacking Technology.

That's some serious engineering marvel, never-before-seen on affordable phones.

Given its place in TECNO's usually ultra-affordable SPARK Series, the SPARK Slim is anticipated to be priced competitively in the Philippines.
