Other upcoming 5G devices

While we were able to have a sneak peek of these great phones, other smartphone manufacturers are also gearing up to compete against them.

Lenovo is now working on its upcoming Z6 Pro, which it promised to have a new "HyperVision" camera capable of recording "Hyper Videos."  Lenovo also confirmed that it will launch a 5G version of the Z5 Pro GT.

OPPO, meanwhile, targets to launch a 5G smartphone with cloud gaming capability. Vivo also showcased a 5G variant of the NEX S last year.

HTC also hinted it would introduce a 5G-ready smartphone powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 processor and its X50 5G modem.

We may only have to wait for a few more months before these smartphones hit the market. We just hope that by that time, the country's 5G network is also in place.
